Finnish metal bands Amorphis and Insomnium perform in Warsaw alongside Unto Others. Amorphis promotes their album "Borderland", blending death metal with progressive elements and folk-inspired melodies.
Insomnium is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Joensuu, active since 1997. Their sound pairs heavy, twin-guitar riffing with melancholic atmospheres and lyrics rooted in sorrow, loss, and Nordic nature. Nine studio albums in, they remain one of the genre's most consistent acts - their 2016 concept record Winter's Gate was the first to reach number one in Finland.
Guitarist Tomy Laisto officially joined Insomnium as a permanent member in early 2026.
Insomnium performed at the Tuska Open Air festival in Helsinki in June 2025.
Insomnium announced a 2025 European anniversary tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of Shadows of the Dying Sun, with Omnium Gatherum and Hinayana as support.
Insomnium parted ways with guitarist Jani Liimatainen in February 2024 after losing contact with him; the band continued as a four-piece with guest musicians for live shows.
