About

Iron Maiden are a British heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris. Over five decades they built one of the genre's most devoted global followings, driven by twin-guitar harmonies, theatrical live shows and their iconic mascot Eddie. With 17 studio albums - from the self-titled 1980 debut through to 2021's Senjutsu - the band has sold well over 100 million records worldwide.
