Isabel Varell (born Isabel Wehrmann, 31 July 1961 in Kempen) is a German singer, actress, musical performer and television presenter. Discovered by producer Jack White in 1981, she scored her first hit with "Verträumt" in 1984 and won the Goldene Europa award as best newcomer. Over four decades she has worked across Schlager, musical theatre, TV drama and presenting, writing her own lyrics since 2009.
