About

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was a German composer and organist of the Baroque era, whose work forms one of the cornerstones of European classical music. He wrote for organ, harpsichord, orchestra and choir, leaving behind over a thousand compositions. The Mass in B minor, completed shortly before his death, is widely regarded as one of the greatest choral works ever written.
