Jah Khalib is the stage name of Bakhtiyar Mammadov (born 29 September 1993 in Almaty), a Kazakh-Azerbaijani rapper, singer and record producer who raps in Russian. He started out as a beatmaker and producer for other Kazakh artists before breaking through with his 2016 debut album "Если чё, я Баха"; the radio hit "Медина" and the viral single "Лейла" turned him into one of the most-streamed acts in post-Soviet hip-hop. His sound layers R&B melodies and Eastern motifs over hard-hitting beats, and he holds a Muz-TV Breakthrough of the Year award (2017) as well as a Golden Gramophone (2018).
Jah Khalib released the single "Желтое" (feat. Jaman T) in October 2025, continuing his run of regular releases throughout the year.
In June 2025 Jah Khalib dropped the single "Возьму тебя с собой" and announced his first concerts in Russia after a break, including a show at a Moscow restaurant and the #ЛетоLIFE festival.
The single "Больно" was released in February 2025, followed by "Сюрикены" later in the spring.
Jah Khalib undertook a North American tour in 2025, performing in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
The single "Разными" (with Shami) was released in December 2024 via Black Star.
