Jamaram is a Munich-based eight-piece band founded in 2000 by vocalist Tom Lugo, drummer Murxen Alberti and guitarist Sam Hopf. Rooted in reggae and dub, their live shows pull in ska, Latin, Afrobeat, hip-hop and Balkan grooves - a range the band calls the "Jamaram Stylee". Over 25 years they have released more than a dozen albums and toured Europe, Africa and South America, averaging around 100 concerts a year.
Jamaram and Jahcoustix played Hamburg's Knust venue on 18 April 2026 as part of their ongoing joint tour.
The band performed at Munich's Tollwood New Year's Eve party on 31 December 2025 as part of their 25th-anniversary tour with Jahcoustix.
