Jamie Duffy (born 2001) is an Irish pianist and composer from Glaslough, Co. Monaghan, whose debut single "Solas" became the most-streamed debut by an Irish artist since Hozier's "Take Me to Church". His neo-classical, folk-inflected sound - shaped by Irish traditional music, piano, and cinematic orchestration - found a global audience through TikTok before crossing into concert halls. His self-titled debut album, recorded in Ireland and Iceland with BAFTA-winning producer Atli Örvarsson, was released in October 2025, and he has since scored his first feature film, 500 Miles.
Duffy's debut feature film score for 500 Miles (starring Bill Nighy and Maisie Williams) is due for release in 2026.
Duffy released his self-titled debut album on 10 October 2025, recorded across Ireland and Iceland with BAFTA-winning producer Atli Örvarsson.
Duffy performed two sold-out shows at the National Concert Hall in Dublin in 2025, including a St Patrick's Day headline set, making him one of the youngest artists to headline the main room solo.
In July 2024, Duffy supported Andrea Bocelli and Hans Zimmer at BST Hyde Park in London and sold out his first Irish headline tour (2,600+ tickets).
Duffy began collaborating with Icelandic composer and BAFTA winner Atli Örvarsson, who produced his debut EP On a Wing.
