Jan Blomqvist is a Berlin-based German musician, singer and producer who performs his own electronic compositions live on stage - a format he helped revive at a time when DJs dominated the club circuit. Rooted in grunge before migrating to Berlin's electronic scene, he built a sound that layers melodic deep house and techno with his own distinctive vocals. He has played Coachella three times and is a regular at Burning Man, releasing music on Diynamic Music before founding his own label, Disconnected, in 2024.
Jan Blomqvist released his third studio album 'MUTE' on his own label Disconnected, following a European tour announced in November 2024.
Blomqvist announced a 13-city European tour in support of 'MUTE', scheduled for early 2025.
The single 'Destination Lost', a collaboration with Rodriguez Jr., was released as the first release on Blomqvist's newly founded label Disconnected.
