John Lennon Tribute - Imagine
A concert honouring John Lennon with his greatest hits, including "Imagine". Perfect for Beatles fans and lovers of 1970s music.
John Lennon (1940-1980) was an English musician, songwriter and activist who co-founded the Beatles - the most commercially successful and culturally influential rock group of the 20th century. His songwriting partnership with Paul McCartney remains the most celebrated in pop history. After the Beatles dissolved in 1970, Lennon pursued a solo career marked by raw confessional albums and outspoken peace activism, producing the landmark record Imagine (1971). He was shot and killed outside his New York apartment on 8 December 1980.
The concert film 'Power to the People: John & Yoko Live in NYC', documenting Lennon's only post-Beatles full-length concerts at Madison Square Garden in 1972, was announced for theatrical release worldwide in spring 2026.
The 'Power to the People' box set - a 12-disc collection of Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1972 One to One concerts at Madison Square Garden, with 90 previously unreleased tracks - was released on 10 October 2025 via Capitol/UMe.
The 2025 Grammy Award for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package went to Sean Ono Lennon's team for the Mind Games: The Ultimate Collection box set.
Lennon's 1973 album Mind Games was reissued as a fully remixed Ultimate Collection in multiple formats, including a limited super deluxe box set of 1,100 copies, on 19 July 2024.
A companion book, 'John Lennon & Yoko Ono: Mind Games', published by Thames & Hudson, was released on 24 September 2024, featuring handwritten lyrics, archive photographs and interviews related to the 1973 album.
