Johnny Logan (born Seán Patrick Michael Sherrard, 13 May 1954 in Frankston, Australia) is an Irish singer and songwriter who won the Eurovision Song Contest twice as a performer - with "What's Another Year" in 1980 and "Hold Me Now" in 1987 - and a third time as the composer of Linda Martin's winning entry "Why Me?" in 1992. He remains the only artist to have both performed and written two separate Eurovision-winning songs, a record that earned him the nickname "Mr. Eurovision". Beyond the contest, he has built a lasting career across Ireland and Scandinavia, where his 2007 album The Irish Connection went platinum in Denmark and double platinum in Norway.
Johnny Logan hinted at a possible return to Eurovision for the 40th anniversary of his 1987 win, saying on Nicky Byrne's podcast: "Give me an orchestra and I might think about it."
Logan performed at Het Grote Songfestivalfeest 2024 in Amsterdam on 12 December 2024.
Logan appeared on the ZDF New Year's show Willkommen 2025, broadcast in Germany.
Logan performed an orchestral version of Loreen's "Euphoria" as a guest act at the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024 in Malmö.
Logan is scheduled to perform at Burgarena Finkenstein in Latschach, Austria on 22 August 2025.
