Joy Denalane (born 11 June 1973 in Berlin-Schöneberg) is a German soul and R&B singer-songwriter of South African and German heritage, widely regarded as the leading soul voice in Germany. Her 2002 debut Mamani went gold and launched a run of six solo studio albums, each landing in the German top ten - until her 2020 album Let Yourself Be Loved on Motown Records, which made her the first German artist ever signed to that label. She is married to rapper and producer Max Herre, with whom she released their first joint album, ALLES LIEBE, in November 2024.
