Julia Jacklin (born 1990) is an Australian singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, working across indie folk, indie pop and alternative country. She built her reputation with three critically acclaimed albums - 'Don't Let the Kids Win' (2016), 'Crushing' (2019) and 'PRE PLEASURE' (2022) - and has won two ARIA Awards from thirteen nominations. Known for unflinching, confessional lyrics and a commanding voice, she has sold out headline shows at London's Roundhouse and Brooklyn Steel, and in 2026 signed her first global record deal with 4AD.
Julia Jacklin announced her fourth studio album 'The Gem', due September 25 via 4AD, and shared lead single 'Get Away From Me (I Think I'll Love You Soon)'.
Jacklin signed her first-ever global record deal with 4AD, joining label-mates including Big Thief, The National and Adrianne Lenker.
Jacklin announced an extensive North American fall 2026 tour (23 dates, October-November) and a UK/European leg running February-March 2027.
Phantastic Ferniture, the band Jacklin is a member of, released two new songs - 'Change My Mind' and 'Dare to Fall in Love' - in 2025.
