Kakkmaddafakka (KMF) is a Norwegian indie rock and pop band from Bergen, formed in 2004 by brothers Axel and Pål Vindenes along with school friends Stian Sævig and Jonas Nielsen. All classically trained, they started out playing a single show at a local youth centre and went on to release seven studio albums, building a loyal following across Europe, Japan, and Latin America. Their sound draws on indie rock, pop, funk, disco, and electronics - and their high-energy live sets, sometimes featuring up to twelve musicians on stage, are what the band is best known for.
