Kasia Kowalska (born 13 June 1973 in Sulejówek) is a Polish singer, songwriter, producer and actress, widely regarded as one of the defining voices of Polish pop-rock. Her 1994 debut album Gemini - produced by Grzegorz Ciechowski of Republika - went triple platinum and launched a career that has since yielded nine studio albums and total sales exceeding 1.3 million copies. She has won multiple Fryderyk awards, an MTV European Music Award for best Polish artist (2001), and represented Poland at Eurovision 1996.
