About

Kat Frankie (born Kathryn Mellander, Sydney, 1978) is an Australian singer-songwriter and producer based in Berlin since 2004. She built her reputation in the German indie scene across five solo albums, from the debut Pocketknife (2007) to Bad Behaviour (2018, Grönland Records), which reached the German top 100. Her most ambitious project to date is B O D I E S - an all-female, instrument-free a cappella ensemble of eight voices that has sold out the Berlin Philharmonie and the Elbphilharmonie.
