Kate Ryan (born Katrien Verbeeck on 22 July 1980 in Tessenderlo, Belgium) is a Belgian dance-pop and eurodance singer who broke through across continental Europe in 2002 with her French-language cover of Mylène Farmer's "Désenchantée". She has sold 3.5 million records, earned multiple platinum and gold awards, and won the World Music Award (IFPI) for Best Selling Benelux Artist Worldwide twice - in 2002 and 2004. In 2006 she represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Je t'adore".
