Killerpilze - 25 Jahre Killerpilze Live
The band Killerpilze celebrates 25 years of their existence with a special concert at Berlin's Huxleys Neue Welt venue.
Killerpilze are a German pop-punk and pop-rock band from Dillingen an der Donau, formed in 2002 by schoolmates Jo Halbig (vocals/guitar), his brother Fabi Halbig (drums) and Mäx Schlichter (guitar). Their 2006 debut single 'Richtig Scheiße' cracked the German top 20 while none of the members were older than 17, and the gold-certified album 'Invasion der Killerpilze' made them one of the defining acts of German-language punk-pop that decade. After eight studio albums and a run that included their own label, crowdfunding campaigns and a cinema documentary, the band paused in late 2019 - returning in 2026 with their original four-piece lineup for a 25th-anniversary tour.
