About

Klone is a French progressive metal band from Poitiers, active since 1999 (originally formed in 1995 as Sowat). Their sound weaves heavy, groove-laden guitars with atmospheric textures and saxophone, drawing comparisons to Katatonia, Opeth and Porcupine Tree. Signing to British label Kscope for 2019's Le Grand Voyage marked a turning point; the band has since toured globally alongside Devin Townsend, Leprous and Riverside, and released their tenth studio album The Unseen in November 2024 via Pelagic Records.
