Kobosil (born Max Kobosil, 5 April 1991) is a Berlin-born DJ and producer who grew up in the working-class district of Neukölln. His sound draws on EBM, industrial and noise, and his 2013 remix of Barker & Baumecker's 'Silo' on Ostgut Ton - Berghain's in-house label - launched his career; he went on to hold a Berghain residency from 2014 to 2019. Beyond DJing, he runs his own imprint and co-founded the Tote Sonne label and booking agency with Klangkuenstler in 2023.
Kobosil shut down his R Label Group imprint in early 2024, reportedly to focus on the newly launched Tote Sonne project.
Kobosil and Klangkuenstler announced Tote Sonne, a combined label and booking agency that also incorporates both artists' fashion lines.
Kobosil launched the 44 Label Group fashion line, with the number 44 referencing Neukölln's historic postal code, backed by Italian designer Claudio Antonioli.
