Krisiun is a Brazilian death metal trio from Porto Alegre, formed in 1990 by brothers Alex Camargo (bass, vocals), Moyses Kolesne (guitars) and Max Kolesne (drums). Their name comes from the lunar basin Mare Crisium - "sea of crisis". Signed to Century Media since 1999, the band built their reputation on relentless blast-beat drumming, razor-sharp riffs and 14 studio albums, with Conquerors of Armageddon (2000) and Black Force Domain (1995) regarded as genre landmarks. Their 2018 album Scourge of the Enthroned was the first to chart in Europe, reaching the German Albums Chart.
Krisiun announced a North American fall 2025 tour performing Conquerors of Armageddon in full, with Abysmal Dawn, Pyrexia and Gorgatron as support.
Krisiun updated their 2025 world tour schedule to include European summer festival dates in July and August, followed by Asia, Australia and Brazil.
Krisiun were announced as special guests on Venom Inc.'s 24-date European 'Beyond The Black Tour 2025', running from the UK to Greece.
Krisiun were confirmed for the 70000 Tons of Metal 2025 cruise, where they performed Conquerors of Armageddon in full to mark its 25th anniversary.
Krisiun released their most recent studio album Mortem Solis in July 2022, produced by the band themselves and mixed by Mark Lewis in Nashville.
