Krovostok in Germany
Russian rock band Krovostok performs in Cologne.
Krovostok is a Moscow hip-hop group formed in 2003 by visual artists Anton Chernyak (Shilo) and Dmitry Fain (Feldman), both graduates of the Moscow Academic Art College. Their music blends gangsta-rap parody with sharp social satire - grotesque criminal narratives delivered in a flat, unhurried monotone - and earned a devoted cult following well beyond the usual rap audience. With eight studio albums from 2004 to 2025, they are widely regarded as one of the most original and influential acts in Russian-language hip-hop.
Krovostok released their eighth studio album 'Пиры и раны' (Feasts and Wounds) in 2025.
Krovostok performed in Chisinau, Moldova in March 2025, continuing their European touring activity.
The group played shows in Prague (2 Nov), Vilnius (16 Nov) and Riga (23 Nov) as part of a European tour in autumn 2024.
Following the group's public statement of support for Ukraine and opposition to Vladimir Putin, their concerts in Russia began to be cancelled under official pressure.
The Yaroslavl Regional Court overturned a lower court's ban on Krovostok's songs and website, rejecting the prosecutor's claims in full.
