Kult

About

Kult is a Polish rock band founded in Warsaw in 1982 by vocalist and saxophonist Kazik Staszewski. Over four decades the group has blended punk, new wave, jazz-rock and hard rock - always anchored by Staszewski's sharp, politically charged lyrics. Their 1993 album "Tata Kazika" sold over 700,000 copies, and several later records went platinum; the band remains one of the most influential acts in Polish rock history.
