Kyuss is an American rock band from Palm Springs, California, active from 1987 to 1995. They are considered pioneers of desert rock and stoner rock, and their heavy, riff-driven sound has influenced countless bands. Their most celebrated albums include Blues for the Red Sun (1992) and Welcome to Sky Valley (1994).
