About

Lacuna Coil is an Italian gothic metal band from Milan, active since 1994. Their signature sound pairs Cristina Scabbia's melodic soprano with Andrea Ferro's harsher vocals, blending gothic metal with metalcore elements. The 2002 album Comalies broke them internationally, and 2006's Karmacode reached #28 on the Billboard 200. In February 2025 they released Sleepless Empire, their tenth studio album.
