Landesjugendsinfonieorchester Hessen (LJSO) is a youth symphony orchestra from the German state of Hesse, now marking its 50th anniversary. Members gather three times a year for intensive rehearsal sessions and then perform the results in public concerts. Over the decades the ensemble has shaped generations of young musicians and remains a key part of musical talent development in Hesse.
