Lemmy, born Ian Fraser Kilmister (1945–2015), was a British rock musician, bassist and vocalist. He is best known as the founder and frontman of heavy metal band Motörhead, with whom he released over twenty studio albums. His distinctive bass style and raspy vocals influenced generations of rock and metal musicians worldwide.
