About

Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in 1996 in the Los Angeles area, known for fusing alternative rock, nu-metal and hip-hop on their diamond-certified debut Hybrid Theory (2000) - still the best-selling debut album of the 21st century. After the death of vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017, the band returned in September 2024 with new co-lead singer Emily Armstrong (formerly of Dead Sara) and drummer Colin Brittain, releasing their eighth studio album From Zero (November 2024). With over 100 million records sold worldwide and two Grammy Awards, they remain one of the most commercially successful rock acts in history.
