Lizzie Doron is an Israeli author who writes in Hebrew and German, focusing on the Holocaust, memory and the identity of survivors' children. She grew up in Tel Aviv as the daughter of an Auschwitz survivor. Her novel "Nur nicht zu den Löwen" explores the fraught mother-daughter relationship shaped by the trauma of war.
