Lumaraa (born Sabine Gerling, 1990 in Landshut, Bavaria) is a German rapper who built her career after moving to Berlin, where she gained early recognition with the 2008 mixtape *Der Anfang einer neuen Zeit* and appearances on the battle format *Rap am Mittwoch*. Her debut studio album *Mädchensache* followed in 2012, and the 2016 album *Gib mir mehr* reached #27 on the German charts. Known for direct, personal lyrics that draw on her own life experiences, she has been an active voice for women in German hip-hop.
