About

Maciej Maleńczuk (born 14 August 1961 in Wojcieszów) is a Polish singer, guitarist, poet and actor, widely known as the "bard of Kraków". He led the bands Püdelsi (1986-2005) and Homo Twist before building a prolific solo career that spans rock, blues, cabaret and acoustic song. His uncompromising lyrics and raw, distinctive voice have made him one of the most recognisable - and controversial - figures in Polish rock over four decades.
