Madsen is a German rock band from Prießeck in the Wendland region of Lower Saxony, formed in 2004 by brothers Sebastian (vocals/guitar), Johannes (guitar) and Sascha (drums) Madsen together with bassist Niko Maurer. Their music blends punk-inflected rock with melodic, hook-driven German lyrics - a combination that has made them one of the most consistent live draws in the German-speaking world. Eight of their nine studio albums reached the German Top 10, and their 2023 record 'Hollywood' became their first number-one album. In 2026 they released their tenth studio album, 'SMILE', on their own label Goodbye Logik Records.
