Majestica is a Swedish symphonic power metal band from Boden, founded in 2000 by vocalist and guitarist Tommy Johansson under the name ReinXeed. The band rebranded as Majestica in 2019 upon signing with Nuclear Blast Records, releasing the debut album Above the Sky that same year. Known for cinematic melodies, fast-paced riffs and epic choir arrangements, they draw comparisons to Rhapsody of Fire, Helloween and Blind Guardian. Johansson also plays guitar for Sabaton, giving the band an unusually high profile within the European power metal scene.
Majestica released their fourth studio album Rise from Ruin on July 11, 2025, comprising 14 tracks.
Majestica announced a fall 2026 European tour supporting Gloryhammer alongside Arion, with dates across France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
