Japanese rock-metal band Man With A Mission performs in Stuttgart.
MAN WITH A MISSION (MWAM) is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 2010, instantly recognizable by the wolf-head masks all five members wear on stage and in videos. The band - Tokyo Tanaka (vocals), Jean-Ken Johnny (guitar/vocals/rap), Kamikaze Boy (bass), DJ Santa Monica (DJ), and Spear Rib (drums) - blends alternative metal, nu-metal and rap-rock with electronic elements. They built a global following through anime tie-ins, including the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba opening theme 'Kizuna no Kiseki' (with milet), which surpassed 200 million cumulative streams.
MAN WITH A MISSION released their anniversary EP 'XV EP' on March 12, 2025, their first new studio material in nearly three years, featuring four new songs including lead single 'REACHING FOR THE SKY'.
The band announced their 'HOWLING ACROSS THE WORLD' UK/EU Tour 2025 for October, covering 13 cities across six countries, with an expected audience of approximately 20,000 - double their 2024 European tour.
To mark their 15th anniversary, MWAM completed a nationwide Japanese arena tour titled 'MAN WITH A 15th MISSION PLAY WHAT U WANT TOUR 2025', performing in 8 major cities across Japan.
The band successfully completed the 'Kizuna no Kiseki' North America and UK & Europe Tour 2024, powered by Crunchyroll.
'Kizuna no Kiseki', their collaboration with milet as the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc opening theme, became a smash hit with over 200 million cumulative streams.
