Marcin Wasilewski is a Polish jazz pianist who leads a long-standing trio with bassist Sławomir Kurkiewicz and drummer Michał Miśkiewicz. The group records for ECM Records and is closely associated with the late trumpeter Tomasz Stańko, with whom they made several acclaimed albums. Their sound blends lyrical restraint with rhythmic depth.
