Mare Nostrum is a jazz trio formed by Italian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, French accordionist Richard Galliano, and Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren. Their music weaves together Mediterranean lyricism, French elegance, and a cooler Scandinavian sensibility into a sound built on improvisation and interplay. The trio has released several albums together and performs regularly at major jazz festivals across Europe and beyond.
