Maria Alyokhina is a Russian activist and member of the feminist punk collective Pussy Riot. She was sentenced to two years in prison in 2012 for a protest performance inside Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Her memoir Riot Days became the basis for a multimedia show combining live music, spoken word and video.
