About
Martin Schmid is a German singer, dancer and double bassist who specialises in swing and German popular music from the 1930s to 1950s. He honed his craft in Hugo Strasser's "Hot Five" alongside swing figures such as Max Greger and Hazy Osterwald. Today he performs with his own band, mixing vocal and dance entertainment with jazz solos.
