MASEGO
American musician MASEGO performs in Berlin. The concert starts at 20:00.
Masego (born Micah Davis, 1993) is a Jamaican-American singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Virginia who coined his own genre - "TrapHouseJazz" - by weaving saxophone-driven jazz, R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop into a single, unmistakable sound. He broke through internationally with the viral 2017 collaboration "Tadow" (with FKJ), which has since surpassed 640 million streams on Spotify alone, and followed it with the debut album Lady Lady (2018) and a Grammy-nominated EP Studying Abroad: Extended Stay (2021). His self-titled second album Masego (2023) cemented his reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary R&B, and a third album, Fix Your Face, is expected in summer 2026.
Masego announced the 40+ date Fix Your Face Tour (Aug-Oct 2026), his first major headlining run in nearly three years, covering North America and Europe.
A new studio album titled Fix Your Face is expected in summer 2026, with the tour supporting its release.
Masego released "Spin the Block," his second solo single of 2025, following the October release of "Unhinged" - his first solo music in two years.
Masego headlined the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and teased a new song, "Mile High Club," by sharing its sheet music on social media rather than releasing it to streaming platforms.
Masego lost his Los Angeles home in the California wildfires at the start of 2025.
