MASTER BOOT RECORD is the solo project of Roman musician Vittorio D'Amore (aka Victor Love), launched in 2016 as the soundtrack to the cyberpunk game VirtuaVerse and quickly growing into a standalone force with over 14 albums. The project fuses synthesized heavy metal, chiptune, classical orchestration and demoscene aesthetics into a sound that is entirely MIDI-programmed yet performed live as a full band. Signed to Metal Blade Records since 2019, MBR has toured North America and Europe extensively and is one of the most distinctive voices in the cyber-metal niche.
