About
Matthew Mole (born 28 October 1991) is a Cape Town singer-songwriter who blends folk with an electronic backbone - a style he calls 'folktronica'. His 2013 debut The Home We Built made him the first South African artist to enter the iTunes SA chart at #1 on release day, and he has since built a following well beyond South Africa, touring Europe, the USA and Russia. He won the South African Music Award for Record of the Year in 2021.
