Matthias Reim (born 26 November 1957 in Korbach, Hesse) is a German pop-rock and Schlager singer-songwriter who broke through in 1990 with "Verdammt, ich lieb' dich" - a single that sold over 2.5 million copies and held the top spot in the German charts for 16 consecutive weeks, a record not matched since 1971. After a financial collapse around 2000, he staged a full comeback with the album "Unendlich" (2013), which again reached number one, and has since placed every studio album in the German Top 10. His 20th studio album "Zeppelin" appeared in April 2024.
