Matthias Tanzmann is a German DJ, producer and label head born in 1977 in Leipzig, where he started his career as a resident at the Distillery club in the mid-1990s. In 2000 he co-founded Moon Harbour Recordings, which has grown into one of the most respected deep and tech house labels in Europe, with over 100 vinyl releases to its name. He has held a Circoloco residency at DC10 in Ibiza since 2007 and is one third of the collective Better Lost Than Stupid alongside Davide Squillace and Martin Buttrich.
Tanzmann released 'Waiting', a collaborative single with Leipzig-based artists AYOUBYME and ROOMER (aka RB Leipzig footballer David Raum), on Moon Harbour Recordings.
Tanzmann and Steve Bug released 'Good Time' on Moon Harbour as part of the label's 25th anniversary compilation series.
