About

Maybebop is a German male a cappella quartet founded in Hanover in 1992, consisting of Oliver Gies, Jan Malte Bürger, Lukas Teske and Christoph Hiller. The group performs entirely without instruments, building its shows around original German-language songs that mix sharp social satire, wordplay and absurdist comedy. Over more than three decades they have released twelve stage programmes and won multiple Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, including the Prix Pantheon audience prize in 2012.
