Michael Schulte (born 30 April 1990 in Eckernförde, Germany) is a pop singer-songwriter who built his following from YouTube covers before finishing third on the first season of The Voice of Germany in 2012. He became widely known across Europe when he represented Germany at Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon with the autobiographical ballad "You Let Me Walk Alone", finishing fourth with 340 points - Germany's best Eurovision result in years. With eight studio albums and a string of German radio hits, he remains one of the most consistent pop voices in the German-speaking market.
Schulte announced the "Beautiful Reasons Tour" for February 2027, a full-band Germany-wide run of over ten cities, with tickets going on sale exclusively via Reservix from 21 May 2026.
His eighth studio album "Beautiful Reasons" was released on 17 April 2026 via Polydor, comprising 16 pop tracks.
The acoustic tour "Sanfte Töne, besondere Orte" supporting "Beautiful Reasons" sold out multiple dates, including the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie show.
His seventh studio album "Remember Me" was released on 29 September 2023 via Polydor Records.
Schulte completed the "Remember Me" tour across Germany and Austria in spring 2024, with dates including Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg.
