About
Modestep is a London-based electronic act founded in 2010, originally a full band blending dubstep, drum and bass, and rock with live vocals and guitar. After a series of lineup changes, frontman Josh Friend now leads the project solo, performing with a masked live band. The group broke through in 2011 with 'Sunlight' and built a reputation for ferocious live shows - including a headline set to 750,000 people at Woodstock Poland. Their third album, Give Up The Ghost (2025), is their first full-length release in a decade.
