MOGUAI is the stage name of André Tegeler (born 1973, Recklinghausen), a German DJ and producer who has been shaping electronic music since the early 1990s. He was among the first techno DJs in Germany, sharing stages with Paul van Dyk, Westbam and Sven Väth, and later broadened his sound into tech-house, electro house and big beat. His 2002 track "U Know Y" became an international breakthrough after the Sugababes sampled it, and his 2013 collaboration "Mammoth" with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ranked second in Tomorrowland Radio's all-time top 1000. He runs his own PUNX label and has hosted a weekly show on WDR 1Live for over two decades.
MOGUAI performed at the 'Castrop kocht über' gourmet festival in Castrop-Rauxel for the third consecutive year, opening the event on 18 June 2025.
