Mollie McGinn is one half of the Belfast-based rock duo Dea Matrona, which she forms with Orláith Forsythe. The two met at an Irish-language singing competition and went on to busk the streets of Belfast before breaking through online. Their debut album "For Your Sins" (2024) reached number one on the UK Independent Albums Chart, and the duo has performed at Glastonbury and The Royal Albert Hall.
