Mother's Cake are an Austrian psychedelic rock band formed in 2008 in Tyrol, based in Innsbruck. The trio - Yves Krismer (guitar, vocals), Benedikt Trenkwalder (bass) and Jan Haußels (drums) - blends funk, hard rock and progressive psychedelia into a raw, high-voltage live sound. Over five studio albums and relentless touring across more than 20 countries, they have shared stages with Alice in Chains, Deep Purple, Wolfmother and Iggy and the Stooges, and were nominated for the Austrian Amadeus Award in 2018.
Mother's Cake announced a European and UK tour for March-April 2025 in support of their album Ultrabliss, including dates in London and Manchester.
The band released their fifth studio album Ultrabliss on October 18, 2024, via Embassy of Music.
Mother's Cake embarked on an extensive European tour in autumn 2024 covering the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland to promote Ultrabliss.
The band announced Ultrabliss in July 2024, with the album recorded at Sevenarts Studio, Überlärm Studio and Moonwalker Productions Studio.
Mother's Cake performed at the Crossroads Festival in October 2021; the concert was broadcast on WDR's Rockpalast.
