Move D is the alias of David Moufang (born 1966, Heidelberg), a German producer and DJ whose work has shaped deep house and ambient techno since the early 1990s. He founded the Source Records imprint, recorded 26 collaborative albums with the late Pete Namlook, and built an enduring partnership with Jonas Grossmann under the Deep Space Network name. His discography spans labels including Warp, Smallville, Fabric, Running Back and Aus Music, and he remains one of the most consistently active figures in European underground house.
