Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath performs in Munich.
Myrath is a Tunisian-French progressive metal band formed in 2001 in Ezzahra, Tunisia, by guitarist Malek Ben Arbia and now based in Paris. Their sound - which they call 'blazing desert metal' - weaves Arabic and North African folk melodies, oriental scales, and Islamic vocal phrasing into a framework of progressive and power metal. They were the first Tunisian act to sign with an international record label, and their seventh album 'Wilderness of Mirrors' (2026) has drawn some of the strongest critical notices of their career.
Myrath released their seventh studio album 'Wilderness of Mirrors' on March 27, 2026 via earMUSIC, earning strong critical praise across European metal press.
The band launched a major European tour in April 2026 covering more than 16 countries, with over 60 shows confirmed.
Myrath announced 'Wilderness of Mirrors' and released the lead single 'Until the End' featuring Amaranthe vocalist Elize Ryd.
The band released 'Reflections', a best-of compilation drawing from all six studio albums up to that point.
Myrath released their sixth studio album 'Karma' on March 8, 2024 via earMUSIC.
